Streets of Rage 4 returns to show itself to the public thanks to a new gameplay video made available by Famitsu for the 2019 edition of PAX West.
At the beginning of this news, you can, in fact, view a short dedicated game session, lasting about eight minutes. The protagonists of this excerpt from Streets of Rage 4 are two characters in particular: the new entry Cherry Hunter, daughter of Adam Hunter, and Axel Stone. Thanks to the video, we can take a closer look at one of the settings and game mechanics that will characterize this new chapter of the videogame series.
The game, born from a collaboration between Dotemu, Lizardcube and Guardcrush Games, was also shown to the public at the recent Gamescom 2019. During the Cologne Trade Fair, a new gameplay trailer for Streets of Rage 4 was shown, with which some of the game’s settings were shown and the character of the wrestler Cherry Hunter was introduced.
The announcement of this fourth installment in the series dates back to August 2018, when the first trailer for Streets of Rage 4 was released. Currently, the game does not have a precise publication date, but the planned launch window coincides with 2020. During the next year, the game will, therefore, arrive on PC, Playstation 4, Xbox One and Nintendo Switch.
