An interesting sight brings to light the rumors related to a possible announcement of a new edition of Doom 64 for current-generation gaming platforms.
After appearing in the PEGI-classified titles database (Pan European Gaming Information), the game has in fact now also been evaluated by the Australian classification agency. In fact, it is possible to find references to Doom 64 on the Australian Classification portal. In particular, the title is referred to as a multi-platform game, published by Bethesda. In short, a new clue related to a possible landing of the title, originally debuted on Nintendo 64 in 1997, on Playstation 4, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch or PC. For now, Bethesda has not offered any confirmation on the matter and to find out if a re-edition of the game is actually scheduled, it will be necessary to wait for any official communications.
