During the night a rumour spread that spoke of the total removal of the third person from the filmed sequences of Cyberpunk 2077, a corridor voice that aroused not a few bad moods among the community. Now the Polish study has clarified the situation with a note sent to the pages of the VGC website.
“For us, achieving total immersion is fundamental, which is why Cyberpunk 2077 will be in the first person, entirely. The game will be 100% subjective and we think that this decision can bring both gameplay and narrative advantage. “
So the third person view will be there? CD Projekt RED answers this way: ” players will be able to see the character on the inventory screen, during the driving sequences, in the mirrors and very rarely in some filmed sequences. “
The word that seems to confirm a significant reduction in the presence of cutscene in the third person compared to what was initially reported, with only a few situations during which we will be able to see our character entirely.
Recall that Cyberpunk 2077 will be released on April 16th 2020 on PC, PS4, Xbox One and Google Stadia.
