Playstation All-Stars Battle Royale 2

Dexerto France has released rumors about an alleged Super Smash Bros. fighting style being developed in Sony studios with the collaboration of the Street Fighter house. A presumed employee of Capcom USA would have published some information on the project, moreover, there are rumors of the corridor and leak appeared on 4Chan, NeoGAF and ResetERA.

According to reports, Sony is developing a 3D brawler/action/arena to be released at the launch of PlayStation 5, the game in question would be a sequel (or probably a reboot) of PlayStation All-Stars Battle Royale, a title released in 2012 on PlayStation 3 and Vita, warmly welcomed by public and critics.

The project would be carried out in collaboration with Capcom and it seems that the goal is to focus on a title with cartoon-style graphics that can be accessible to both casual and experienced players, with an eye also to eSport and the competitive scene. The game’s roster should feature the following characters from the PlayStation universe (Aloy, Nathan Drake, Sackboy, Kratos) and some heroes from the Capcom world such as Dante, Ryu, and Chun-Li.

  • Nathan Drake
  • Kratos
  • Sackboy
  • Ratchet & Clank
