Death Stranding is getting closer and closer to its debut and, to celebrate the arrival of its new ambitious project for PlayStation 4, Hideo Kojima is planning to set up a special event scheduled for November 8th.
Through his ever-active Twitter profile, the Japanese director retraced the four-year-old launch of Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain, the latest episode of the stealth saga edited by Kojima before his divorce from Konami materialized. In that case, there was no special event to celebrate the arrival of the game, unlike what happened in 2010 with Metal Gear Solid: Peace Walker. However, Kojima has expressed the desire to replicate a similar experience in conjunction with the arrival of Death Stranding, although the author has not yet had time and time to organize anything concrete. Moreover, as he himself admitted, Kojima Productions is in a phase of intensive work to be able to meet the deadline promised to Sony and to all the players who are anxiously waiting for the game.
We also take the opportunity to bring back to you a new off-screen image shared by the eccentric director, in which the usual Sam Bridges is portrayed seated on one of the immense expanses that are the backdrop to the game’s events.
Death Stranding will be released exclusively on PlayStation 4 on November 8, 2019. Recently, new images of the game captured on PS4 Pro have been released. Did you know that Kojima had to abandon the idea of another game in order to devote himself to Death Stranding?
4years ago of today was the release day of MGSV. This photo was when I sneaked into the store. It’ll be the 1st time in 4years when DS is released on 11/8. I’d like to do the launch event 1st time in 9years if poss even thou doing events is passé. The last one was in 2010 for PW. pic.twitter.com/BGWuJTWWLm
