The director of Game Freak, Junichi Masuda, published on the social profile of the Japanese software house images of trains and railway stations, thus fueling the rumours that hypothesize the presence of the Kalos region in Pokemon Sword and Shield.
During Gamescom 2019, Game Director Shigeru Ohmori published a video message that confirmed the presence of the Sword and Scudo Railway Stations. And yet, the insistence with which Masuda continues to spread images of trains in these last days (using, moreover, not only his social profiles but also the official Game Freak channels) has not gone unnoticed by the most attentive members of the community.
These images, in fact, suggest that the Japanese company still has some surprises in store for all Pokemon fans who eagerly await the release on Nintendo Switch of the new open-world blockbuster of The Pokemon Company.
The strong analogies between the Galar region and Great Britain, on the other hand, reinforce the theory of train travel in the (presumably) neighbouring region of Kalos inspired by France. The map most explored by Pokemon X and Y users , as a result, could make its return in Pokemon Sword and Shield to enrich the playful, narrative and content experience of the Coaches who quiver with the desire to fill their digital Pokedex starting from November 15 , coinciding with the launch of Sword and Shield on Nintendo Switch.
All the clues collected by the community and launched by the same Masuda invite us to look very carefully at Nintendo Direct on September 5th and at the announcements that will be made by Game Freak in this important 40-minute event that, we remember, we will follow on these pages from midnight on Thursday 5 September , ie during the night between 4 and 5 September.
