Will Call of Duty Modern Warfare Have the Battle Royale? the Developers Talk

Call of Duty Modern Warfare

Call of Duty Black Ops 4 stood out for the absence of the campaign and the presence, in its place, of the Battle Royale Blackout mode, it seems however that things will not go like this as far as Call of Duty Modern Warfare is concerned.

To talk about the topic were the developers Joe Cecot and Taylor Kurosaki, interviewed recently by GameInformer USA: ” We love the Battle Royale … but between campaign, multiplayer and Spec Ops … a mode like that just doesn’t fit in the box“, they closed the two, laughing.

The “new” Call of Duty Modern Warfare seems therefore not to provide a Battle Royale mode, Infinity Ward preferred to focus on multiplayer and the campaign, leaving out the Royal Battle, a genre of success but whose apex has been reached for some time now and on the market there seems to be no room for new competitors of Fortnite and PUBG, the only two BRs that manage to withstand the passage of time.

Call of Duty Modern Warfare will be available from October 25th on Windows PC, PlayStation 4 and Xbox One, a COD MW Public Beta is scheduled in various stages from September 12th to 21st with early access on PS4 thanks to the partnership signed between Activision and Sony Interactive Entertainment, which also includes the arrival of extra content in advance on the console of the Japanese house.
