Playtonic and Team 17 announced the release date of Yooka-Laylee and the Impossible Lair, available from October 8th at the price of 29.99 euros on PC (via Steam), Xbox One, Nintendo Switch and PlayStation 4.

Yooka-Laylee and the Impossible Lair is the sequel to the eponymous 3D platform released in 2016, in this case, however, the English developers of Playtonic (a team composed of former members of Rare who worked on Banjo-Kazooie) opted for a mixed style in 2.5D, a choice aimed at recalling the great platform games of the past.
