Destiny 2 Shadowkeep: It’s Controversy Over the Raid’s Weapons and Armor Leak

On the occasion of GamesCom 2019, there are many players who have had the opportunity to try Shadowkeep with their hands, the expansion that will inaugurate Destiny 2 Year 3. Some of the lucky ones who played the trial version also peeked in the menu, discovering the exotic weapon and the remaining pieces of the new Raid set.

The images of these objects are inevitably finished on the net and, unfortunately, it doesn’t seem that the enthusiasts have been very happy. According to the most attentive Guardians, this set would seem to be very similar to the one available with luminous engrams during Year 1. The same Exotic Laser Rifle, the weapon that can be obtained only and exclusively in the raid set in Black Garden does not seem to be so different from the Prometheus Lens from a purely aesthetic point of view. In short, once again Bungie ended up in the eye of the storm because of its desire to reuse old assets within an expansion.

Over the last few hours, the developers have also confirmed that this is the Raid set and that in the next few hours a developer post will arrive to better clarify the situation and, possibly, to calm the minds.

We remind you that Destiny 2 Shadowkeep will arrive on October 1st, 2019 on PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC. The same day the game will officially go to Steam, where Destiny A New Light will debut, a free to play version that will provide players with lots of free content, both PvP (Crucible and Gambling) and PvE (full-year 1 and patrol areas, including the Moon).

Did you know that the first Destiny Season Pass 2 will be introduced shortly?
