A mysterious message published on the official Twitter account of MicroProse, the historic software house that gave birth to the Sid Meier’s Civilization series, may have anticipated the arrival of an announcement in the coming days.
For the uninitiated, MicroProse Software was a very active company in the 80s and 90s and that, after closing in 2003, came back to life with a new name, MicroProse Systems, and keeping the old logo. Currently, the development team is working on Warbirds 2020, a combat aircraft simulator with support for online multiplayer releases between late 2019 and early next year. It is therefore probable that, in addition to announcing a precise date for the launch of the title in question, MicroProse can unveil a new title and, to the delight of the old fans, it cannot be excluded that it is a strategic one.
At this point, there is nothing left to do but wait a few days and keep an eye on the official Twitter account of the software house, so as to find out any news as soon as possible.
Speaking of strategy, have you already taken a look at Humankind, the new title being developed by SEGA?
