From the pages of the official PlayStation Blog, the director of studios Sony Bend, Jeff Ross, announces the release date of the Days Gone update which will introduce the long-awaited New Game Plus mode and many other improvements to the post-apocalyptic blockbuster exclusive to PS4.
According to Ross, the Days Gone update dedicated to the New Game Plus (but not only) can be downloaded for free during the next week, and more precisely from Friday 13 September.
By choosing to embark on the adventure of Deacon St. John in NG + mode, the emulators of the Days Gone hero will be able to keep their weapons, the improvements and customizations of the bike, the BLACK upgrades, the abilities, the level of “trust” of the camps, the Credits obtained up to that moment, the collectible objects and, finally, the progress in the Trophies not yet unlocked.
To access the New Game Plus mode, simply select the appropriate item in the pause menu after completing the main campaign at any level. With the mid-September update, two additional difficulty levels will be integrated, namely Difficult 2 and Survival 2, which can be selected independently of the NG +.
The next update of Days Gone will also take care to add new Trophies and unpublished content, one of which will be represented by a “mysterious weapon” that we will have to acquire during the game to unlock the relative Trophy.
