Fairy Tail: Gust unveils the new JRPG for PC, PS4 and Switch based on Hiro Mashima’s manga

The leaders of Koei Tecmo and the authors of Gust officially present the project of Fairy Tail, an ambitious action-packed JRPG set in the fantasy dimension of Hiro Mashima’s manga and destined to land on PC, PlayStation 4 and Switch during 2020.

Drawing on the experience gained over the years with the Atelier series, also destined to continue in the coming months with the equally promising Atelier Ryza, the Gust boys will take advantage of the collaboration and supervision of the same Mashima to give shape to the first videogame “major” of the fantasy saga of Fairy Tail destined to land on the console in the West, after the mobile experiment conducted in 2014 with Brave Saga for iOS and Android.

The presentation film prepared by the Japanese developers catapults us through the picturesque settings of Earthland and the Kingdom of Fiore, the tutor to prepare us for the journey that awaits us in the company of Natsu Dragneel and Lucy Heartfilia. In the course of the adventure, we will meet the other members of the Guild of the Wizards and the most hostile members of the “dark” guilds led by the fearsome Zeref.

We therefore hope to get to know as soon as possible the official launch date of Fairy Tail on PC, PS4 and Nintendo Switch, but first we leave you in the company of the announcement trailer and your considerations on the scenes of gameplay immortalized.
