Ghostwire Tokyo: Ikumi Nakamura, Who Presented the Game at e3, Leaves Tango Gameworks


During E3 2019, Tango Gameworks officially presented the new Sinji Mikami project, showing the public the first trailer of GhostWire Tokyo.

To introduce the project, Bethesda Ikumi Nakamura, Creative Director of the game, had intervened on the stage of the conference. Through his official Twitter account, the artist has now announced his decision to abandon the development team. In the message entrusted to the social network, the creative director and concept artist announced the conclusion of her work experience at Tango Gameworks and Zenimax.

This concludes a nine-year collaboration, during which Ikumi Nakamura contributed to the creation of The Evil Within and The Evil Within 2. As already mentioned, the woman also played the role of ofGhostWire Creative Director: Tokyo, whose design she has participated on several fronts. Ikumi Nakamura has, in fact, offered his own contribution to the definition of settings related to history, scenery, and characters of Shinji Mikami’s new videogame project. The professional, who in the past worked on titles such as Bayonetta and Okami, has not announced what her next job will be.
