Activision and Infinity Ward have published the roadmap to approach the launch of Call of Duty Modern Warfare. The game will arrive on October 25 in stores but will be preceded by two beta phases and important appointments with the revelations of the campaign, Spec Ops and Cross-Play support.
The first beta will be held from 12 to 16 September, while in the week of 16 September the details on cross-platform support will be revealed. The second beta weekend is scheduled from 19 to 23 September, while at the end of September Infinity Ward will show the campaign for the first time. Finally, during the week of 7 October, the premiere of Special Ops.
As for the single-player, the developers have recently declared that the campaign’s longevity will be in line with that of the last chapters of the series with a contemporary setting, although of course, everything will depend on the skills and approach of the players. There are no plans to introduce the Battle Royale mode in Call of Duty Modern Warfare, Infinity Ward, in this case, preferred to focus exclusively on the campaign and traditional multiplayer, leaving aside the Royal Battle that marked the most recent Call of Duty Black Ops 4, published last October.
