How many personalities did we see passing through Kojima Productions studios? Norman Reedus, Conan O’Brien, Jordan Vogt-Roberts, as well as industry insiders like Jade Raymond and Shuhei Yoshida. Now you can no longer count: Hideo Kojima really likes to take a break from time to time, welcoming celebrities to his offices.
The last to have met the Japanese designer is one of those really important: we are talking about Keanu Reeves, who lately has seen his popularity spread even in the world of video games thanks to his participation in Cyberpunk 2077, a CD Projekt RED game in which he will play Johnny Silverhand, one of the most important characters – or rather his digital ghost. His appearance at E3 2019 during the presentation of the new trailer, with an attached release date, of Cyberpunk 2077 has already entered the history of our favorite medium.
With such credentials, the good Hideo Kojima could not refrain from inviting Reeves to his home. And, of course, we didn’t even miss the chance to capture the meeting in a series of photographs, which you can see at the bottom of this news. How beautiful are they together on a scale that goes from one to “breathtaking“? By the way, Keanu Reeves was considered for the role of Cliff Death Stranding. In the end, in any case, the designer preferred Mads Mikkelsen to him.
We take the opportunity to remind you that Death Stranding, a game that not even Kojima seems to have well understood, will be released exclusively on PlayStation 4 on November 8th. To see Keanu Reeves in action in Cyberpunk 2077 we will have to wait until April 16th, 2020.
