The new week starts with a little surprise in the British sales charts, where the best-selling video game turns out to be NBA 2K20, the basketball simulation of Take-Two that takes advantage of the poor period from the point of view of the exits and conquers the peak despite a drop in sales.
Compared to last year, in fact, basketball according to 2K sold almost a third of the copies less, but it was enough to occupy the top step of the podium, relegating to the second place another title that is doing well, but perhaps less than expected: the Spyro trilogy for Nintendo Switch.
If the title seems perfect for Nintendo’s hybrid console, its sales are down 10% less than those sold on PS4. And if last week there were four new games in the top five, almost all of them quickly came out, like Astral Chain, in first place last week, and now in the eleventh position, or like the highly anticipated Control, even dropped on the fourteenth step.
Let’s see in detail the Top Ten :
- NBA 2K20
- Spyro Reignited Trilogy
- The Dark Pictures Anthology: Man of Medan
- Mario Kart 8 Deluxe
- Crash Team Racing: Nitro-Fueled
- Marvel’s Spider-Man
- Super Mario Maker 2
- FIFA 19
- Catherine: Full Body
