As we have reported in the past few hours, Geoff Keighley has confirmed the arrival of a Media Event scheduled for September 24th in which we will return to discuss The Last of Us Part II, one of the most anticipated PlayStation 4 exclusive for this generation ending videogame.
According to reports from a well-known insider, however, it seems that the Japanese giant, which as we all know has maintained an unusually low profile in the last year, could have an additional surprise in store for its fans. As suggested by Daniel Ahmad / ZhuegeEX, one of the most reliable sources regarding rumors about the gaming world, Sony is preparing a new special event to be presented in the same week as the Media Event on the game of Naughty Dog.
At the moment no more specific details have emerged in this regard, but it is plausible that the PlayStation house is planning a new appointment with State of Play, which could convey the latest news on expected titles such as Death Stranding, Ghost of Tsushima, Final Fantasy VII Remake and so on. It cannot be excluded, however, that it could be an event in which to discuss for the first time in public PlayStation 5, the unofficial name of the new generation console to which Mark Cerny has only hinted during an interview in recent months.
We therefore only have to wait for an eventual official announcement by Sony. What would you prefer, new information on exclusive PS4 or new details on PS5?
