Surprisingly, Konami has recently launched the Contra Rogue Corps demo on the Nintendo Switch eShop, the new chapter in the series presented during the Direct held at E3 2019 in Los Angeles.
The trial version of the twin stick-shooter appeared on the hybrid console store but is currently available for download only for Australian users. Plausible, in any case, that in the next few hours the demo will also be extended to North American and European territories.
Already raising conflicting reactions to his announcement, Contra Rogue Corps intends to revive the name of the Konami franchise. As stated by the developers themselves, the title looks like a twin-stick shooter that will make the cooperative its founding element, both in local mode and online multiplayer. The director and producer Nobuya Nakazato have ensured that the microtransactions will not be present in any form within the game.
Waiting for news about the availability of the demo in Italy, we remind you that Contra Rogue Corps will be available exclusively on Nintendo Switch starting September 24, 2019. Waiting to be able to get started with this new chapter, you can brush up on the Konami series thanks to the Contra Anniversary Collection, including 10 classic franchise episodes and a 74-page e-book available for €19.99.
