Fairy Tail: The TGS 2019 Event Will Reveal the Gameplay and the Combat System

From the pages of the last edition of the Japanese magazine CoroCoro, the representatives of Gust confirm their participation in the TGS 2019. The Japanese development team will take advantage of the opportunity offered by the Tokyo fair to show us the first gameplay scenes of the expected Fairy video game Tail.

The event organized by Gust will be included in the list of initiatives promoted by Koei Tecmo for the Tokyo Game Show 2019 and will take place from 15:00 to 15:30 (GMT +2) on Sunday 15 September, with streaming planned on YouTube and on the main social channels Western and Asian.

The broad media coverage provided by Koei Tecmo to the Fairy Tail project is the plastic representation of the ambition that accompanies this title and, above all, of the expectations fed by Hiro Mashima ‘s manga fans.

The first advances in the event that will illustrate the game mechanics of Fairy Tail concern the combat system : according to what was revealed to the CoroCoro journalists by the authors of the Atelier series, the emulators of Natsu Dragneel and Lucy Heartfilia will be able to form teams and give orders to their teammates, with playful formulas not too far from those borrowed from the best JRPG tradition.

To get a clearer picture of the situation and find out, for example, if the combat system will be exclusively turn-based or will also include action elements, we just have to wait until September 15th to watch the gameplay reveal of Fairy Tail, whose launch Western on PC, PS4 and Nintendo Switch should take place in 2020 .
