Destiny 2 Shadowkeep: Planned Mod Changes for Weapons and Numerous Buffs

About two weeks after the official debut of Destiny 2: Shadows from the Deep, the first expansion of the Year 3, Bungie has finally revealed what the changes in legendary and exotic weapons will be.

The first major change concerns weapons mods, which at the exit of Shadowkeep will no longer be simple consumables but permanent inventory items applicable to any weapon. To ensure that with the next update these mods become part of your equipment, you must make sure you have at least one of them on the screen for the mods. If you do not have a mod, you can always get it by removing a weapon that mounts it. In short, if you are missing something, you should take a tour of the gunsmith or Ada to make sure you have at least one of the mods that may interest you.

The other change concerns the damage in PvE of most weapons. To be more effective in the mode against AI with the launch of the next expansion will, in fact, be bows, assault rifles, portable cannons and all other types of guns except grenade launchers, rocket launchers, and fusion rifles.

  • Colony
