Konami has launched the demo of Contra: Rogue Corps, the new chapter of the series presented at E3, for PlayStation 4, Xbox One and Switch. The trial version of the twin stick-shooter can be downloaded worldwide.
The same Konami gives us an idea of the content available in the trial version. “The demo will show the twin-stick and third-person campaign of the action game, including a playable preview of one of the many large-scale battles against the boss that will be part of the final version. Players will have to complete missions, collecting resources to upgrade weapons and other body parts, to stay alive in the Damn City. In the event of a bankruptcy, players can ask an online friend for help to mow down their enemies together. Players will also have access to the cooperative mode locally and to the exclusive PvP mode called Carnage League “.
In the demo, there is also a new trailer of the game that shows unpublished footage. The progress made in the trial version will not affect the final version. Konami has previously announced that there will be no micro-transactions in Contra Rogue Corps.
The game will be released in Europe and Japan on September 26th for PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Switch, and PC.
