Cyberpunk 2077 is undoubtedly one of the most awaited titles for next year, yet some players remain hesitant when faced with the choice of the first-person view adopted by CD Projekt RED for its Sci-Fi RPG.
Speaking to the microphones of Video Games Chronicle, the level designer Max Pears reiterated that the first person camera was the best choice that could be taken for Cyberpunk 2077, and he also explained the reasons:
“I hope people can understand that we have thought about it and that there is a logic behind our process. We have not simply thrown it there by chance: there is a lot we have thought about. In last year’s demo, “You saw the interactive dialogue system, where a person points a gun at your temple. I don’t think you would necessarily have the same impact in the third person. These are the moments that make you believe it’s your story and your character. We believe that this is the right choice for the game. We hope that once they experience it, people will understand why we have taken this direction. “
We remind readers that Cyberpunk 2077 will be published April 16, 2020, on PC, PS4, Xbox One, and Google Stadia. Recently, many new details have emerged about romance and the types of quests present within the ambitious RPG.
