Beta of Call of Duty: Modern Warfare announced an event in streaming for Cross-Play

The first phase of COD Modern Warfare’s Open Beta exclusively on PS4 ended a few days ago and the guys at Infinity Ward are preparing to launch the second and final phase of Beta on PC, Xbox One and PS4 staring for today’s evening, Tuesday 17 September, a streaming event dedicated to the Cross-Play function.

The event organized by the California subsidiary of Activision will take place starting at 19:00 (GMT +2) on September 17 and can be admired from the pages of the official Twitch channel of Infinity Ward.

During the show, we will be able to watch some new gameplay scenes of the Beta of the new Call of Duty focused on Cross-Play, the feature that will allow all users of this ambitious first-person shooter to participate in multiplayer lobbying shared between different platforms. During the streaming event, presumably, the authors of Infinity Ward will illustrate the different options available to players to enjoy the features offered by Cross-Play, for example by choosing to set up matchmaking based on the controls used.

The next phase of Modern Warfare Beta testing will take place from 19 to 23 September: in addition to Cross-Play, from the beginning of the second online test, there will also be Ground War, the 32vs32 multiplayer mode to be played inside large maps dimensions that will allow the use of vehicles and the Killstreak system. The official launch of Call of Duty Modern Warfare, however, is scheduled for October 25 on PC, PlayStation 4 and Xbox One.
