Square Enix has announced that it will release Dragon Quest, Dragon Quest II: Luminaries of the Legendary Line and Dragon Quest III: The Seeds of Salvation on Nintendo Switch on September 27th. The three classic titles, therefore, will accompany the launch of the anticipated Dragon Quest 11: Echoes of a Lost Era S – Definitive Edition, to be released the same day.
The three games, which first saw the light of day between 1986 and 1988 on Famicon / NES, will return to the United States of America and debut for the first time on consoles in Europe exclusively in digital format on Nintendo eShop at the price of $ 4.99, $ 7.49 and $ 12.49, respectively. In the East, however, a physical edition will also be published with a lot of support for the English language, already listed by the well-known retailer Play Asia.
Thanks to this operation, players will be able to relive the beginnings of one of the most influential and long-lived sagas in the videogames world. Among other things, even Dragon Quest 11: Echoes of a Lost Era S – Definitive Edition has a strong connection with the past: the edition of the game coming to Nintendo Switch, in fact, will provide players with the possibility of facing secondary missions that will take them to the worlds of the Dragon Quest of the past, as well as a 2D mode with strong nostalgic hues .
