Ni No Kuni Remastered: the launch trailer traces the journey of Oliver and Lucciconio

Ni No Kuni

The spheres of Bandai Namco and the authors of Level-5 count the days that separate them from the release of Ni No Kuni Remastered on PC and PS4, and of the original version of La Minaccia Della Strega Cinerea on Switch, creating a splendid trailer for launch.

In this video, which takes the form of a wonderful multimedia treasure chest full of cinematic scenes and gameplay clips, the Japanese developers retrace the fundamental steps of the journey undertaken by the boy Oliver and his inseparable companion Lucciconio.

The updated versions of the 2010 realistic masterpiece signed by the masters of Level-5 and Studio Ghibli will boast all the contents of the basic adventure, as well as updates and expansions of the original title. The only differences between the different versions will be of a purely graphic nature and will concern the maximum level of resolution and framerate reachable from one’s chosen platform: on Switch, for example, you can play at 720p and 30fps (in docked mode), while on PlayStation (especially PS4 Pro) and PC you can push up to 4K and 60 frames per second.

The Ni No Kuni Remaster, moreover, will boast the most defined textures, a better lighting system with sharper shadows and more fluid animations in the combat phases. Both the Nintendo Switch port of the original Ni No Kuni and the remastered version for PC and PS4 will be available starting Friday 20 September.
