The curators of Team Ninja’s social media channels reveal an interesting background on the demonstration version of Nioh 2 accessible to all those who visited Koei Tecmo’s stands during the Tokyo Game Show 2019.
According to reports from the Japanese developers, in fact, only 5% of those who took on the challenges of the Nioh 2 demo from the TGS managed to complete the stage proposed by Team Ninja.
The small number of users who managed to exceed the level of the main Nioh 2 campaign featured in the demo of the Tokyo videogame fair represents the ambitions nurtured by the Japanese authors, whose will was and remains to offer us one of the more soulslike difficult that has ever been created. Of course, the complete statistics of the TGS demo of Nioh 2 do not take into account the objective complications represented by the context of the fair and the impossibility for players to become familiar with the controls before diving into the Yokai Kingdom.
So to get a clearer picture of the difficulty level that will characterize the new Ninja Team role-playing action, then, we just have to wait until November 1st to participate (only until the 10th of the same month) at the Nioh 2 Open Beta and to prepare ourselves properly for the release of Kool Tecmo’s blockbuster soulslike, scheduled for the first few months of 2020 exclusively on PlayStation 4 and PS4 Pro.
