Gears 5

The Coalition, in collaboration with PGL, has unveiled the details of the renewed competitive program of Gears 5. It is not the first time that the new third-person shooter of the Coalitions makes the export world talk.

This summer, in fact, the documentary dedicated to the most famous teams of the circuit was staged and the same competitive scene was exploited as a marketing tool to sponsor the knowledge and the release of the most awaited title for the Microsoft console.

The 2019-2020 season will offer players around the world the chance to compete for a rich $ 2 million prize pool. The season will be divided into four quarters, each of which will end with an important international event.

At the moment Mexico City and San Diego have been revealed. In a very similar way compared to previous seasons, the Gears 5 export program will be in “open” format and will start in a few days: September 22nd.

The season will be divided into quarters: at the end of each, the team with the most points in each region and the winner of each regional ladder’s playoffs will earn the slot for the main event. In addition, the best teams from North America, Europe, and Latin America will also have the opportunity to qualify for the Gears Pro League.

The league will feature four divisions: North America Alpha, North America Bravo, Latin America, and Europe. The teams will play each of their opponents twice over the course of six weeks.

After the end of the Pro League, the teams with the worst placement in the standings will be forced to play again a qualifying tournament in order to maintain their place in the league.
