Max Pears, the level design of CD Projekt RED was recently interviewed by the VGC website and on this occasion, he spoke among other things about Cyberpunk 2077 DLC, confirmed in early September along with multiplayer.

What is the vision of the study regarding Cyberpunk 2077’s additional content and expansions? A good question to which Pears answers with these words: ” as a level designer it is not a decision related only to my person, we are talking about it with the development team. The Witcher 3 has improved a lot thanks to the feedback of the community, therefore also with Cyberpunk 2077 we will listen to the audience, but obviously we already have some ideas ready. We have learned a lot from the DLCs of The Witcher 3 probably we will also apply the same strategy for our new project. “

In the same interview, Pears then talked about the Cyberpunk 2077 multiplayer, reiterating how the latter will, in any case, be integrated into the game’s lore. At present, there are no precise plans and the focus of the study is on the campaign. Once Cyberpunk 2077 is released, the developers will start working on the multiplayer sector too, the goal is to focus on single-player, at least for the moment. The new CD Projekt RED game is expected on 16 April 2020 on PC, PS4 and Xbox One, later also on Google Stadia.
