Sony Interactive Entertainment Japan & Asia announced the Japan Studio Fun Meeting 2019, an event to be held on November 16th from 17:00 to 20:00 (local time) at the SSJ Shinagawa Building in Tokyo.
Entry will be limited to the first 150 people who will purchase tickets (at a price of 1,000 yen) from September 19 to October 20, during the meeting various activities are planned including a rich buffet with free drinks, gadgets, quizzes and tournaments, as well as the celebrations for the twentieth anniversary of Ape Escape and Toro , the latter cult figure in Japan having played the role of PlayStation mascot for many years between the late 1990s and the first half of the 2000s.
The event will be streamed but in any case, no new announcements are expected. As was the case for the 2018 edition, it is only a way to put the Sony Japan Studio team in touch with the community, the company has no plans to reveal or teasers of any kind.
At the moment we do not know which projects are being developed by Sony’s Japanese studios, after the Astro Bot Rescue Mission the team set to work on a new game not yet announced, we hope to find out more in a short time.
