After witnessing the return of the rebel machines with the film Terminator Dark Destiny, the threatening shadow of Skynet extends again to the videogame universe with Terminator: Resistance, a sci-fi shooter strictly singleplayer for PC, PS4 and Xbox One.
In development at Teyon’s digital forges on behalf of Reef Entertainment , Terminator Resistance has carved out its own space in the history of this iconic sci-fi franchise to offer us an original story set in the future, thirty years after the nuclear apocalypse unleashed by the Skynet’s rebellious AI in the global event known as Judgment Day .
The protagonist of this new project will be Jacob Rivers, a member of the Pacific Resistance who, for some reason unknown to him, will be targeted by Skynet with the aim of “ending it” through the use of a newly developed cyborg and dear, old T-800.
The fight against these ruthless cybernetic beings will lead us to explore sprawling environments where the management of resources will make the difference between life and death: through the completion of the parallel missions to the main plot, moreover, we will be able to rise in the ranks of the Resistance to acquire new ability and gain access to even more devastating weapons. The developers of Teyon also promise to enrich the story with the relationships we will have to make with the groups of survivors and their representatives, hence the need to break the pace of gunfights with stealth sessions to be addressed to complete the tasks entrusted from secondary characters.
The post-apocalyptic Los Angeles Terminator Resistance is waiting for November 15th, just in time for the launch of the title on PC, PS4 and Xbox One.
