A technical video analysis of the remake of Link’s Awakening confirms the FPS drops

Zelda Link's Awakening Comes out on Switch on September 20th, New Trailer

When only a few days are left before the remake of Link’s Awakening comes out, it seems that the game, although much awaited by the fans and in any case, a great product as you can read in our review of The Legend of Zelda: Link’s Awakening, seems to have some small problems.

Mainly the title suffers from obvious declines in framerates, especially when passing from one area of the game to another. Although this is not a defect that significantly affects the gaming experience, the problem is there, and it has also been addressed in an in-depth technical analysis by the guys at Game Xplain, in a video that you can find as usual at the top of the news.

In the video the FPS drops are shown in detail and the reasons why they occur are explained, and from the technical analysis we discover that one of the versions of the game that performs best is the digital one, especially if installed in the internal memory of Nintendo Switch, and not therefore on a possible SD card.

In any case, we refer you to the video, which lasts about ten minutes, which is definitely more exhaustive.

A test of the kind was also published by NintenDuo a few days ago, and on our site, you will also find their technical analysis of the remake of Link’s Awakening.
