Call of Duty Mobile: News on Battle Royale Mode

Activision, in collaboration with Tencent, announces that Call of Duty Mobile will be released on October 1st in Europe. Call of Duty Mobile is the definitive first-person experience that offers COD fans the favorite maps, modes, weapons, and characters of the whole series.

” We will put Call of Duty’s first-person action experience in your hands on mobile, ” said Chris Plummer, vice president of Mobile at Activision. ” We are putting together the best of the franchise, including Modern Warfare maps like Crash and Crossfire, Black Ops maps like Nuketown and Hijacked, and many others, in an epic title. We have extensively tested the game in selected territories and the feedback we received helped us perfect the experience coming on October 1st.

Call of Duty Mobile will come with a wide offer of multiplayer modes and the Battle Royale, with additional content, limited-time events, and playlists that will be added regularly.

In the Multiplayer, players will compete in fluid battles, fighting in the first person in fan-favorite modes like Team Deathmatch, Search and Destroy and Free-For-All, in iconic maps like Nuketown, Crash, Hijacked and many others. During the game, players will climb a leaderboard to earn and unlock classic Call of Duty characters like John Soap MacTavish and Simon Ghost Riley from the Modern Warfare series, as well as Alex Mason from the Black Ops series. Weapons, scorestreaks and additional equipment to customize the character will be at your fingertips in the definitive Call of Duty experience.

The Battle Royale mode is unique in the Call of Duty universe, designed and built specifically for Call of Duty Mobile. Up to 100 players will fight for survival in a map created exclusively for the mobile that will offer settings from around the Call of Duty franchise both for single, pair or team matches of four. Players will be able to compete between land, sea, and sky with vehicles like ATVs, helicopters, and rafts, as they search for equipment and weapons around the map.
