During the September edition of Inside Xbox, the authors of Studio Wildcard have confirmed their commitment to the transposition of ATLAS for Xbox One through a cinematic video showing the console edition, strictly in Game Preview, of their ambitious and controversial pirated sandbox.
Officially presented during the last edition of The Game Awards, the ATLAS project was launched shortly afterward on Steam to then be overwhelmed with criticism by those who, rightly or not, believe that the title is only a “paid mod” of ARK, also made by Studio Wildcard.
In recent months, US developers have rolled up their sleeves and enriched the digital archipelago of their open-world adventure with minor updates that, according to the same Wildcard bosses, will serve to lay the foundations for the Mega Update that will arrive in the coincidence of the arrival of ATLAS on Xbox One. The major update that will start the Game Preview phase of the title should introduce Cross-Play support and, consequently, the “perfect equality” between the PC version and the Xbox One in terms of the content offered.
The cinematic trailer (with flashes of authentic gameplay scenes … hopefully!) Shown during the Inside Xbox, therefore, launches on October 8th the launch of the “early access” version of ATLAS for Xbox One S and Xbox One X.
