Dead Cells, also available on iOS, is close to 2.5 million copies sold

Dead Cells Also Arrives on iOS

Despite the fact that more than two years have passed since the debut of Dead Cells among the early access titles on Steam, the sales of the Motion Twin “roguevania” continue to give the French team great satisfaction.

According to Steve Filby, one of the members of the development team, on the occasion of PAX West, the game has now reached 2.4 million copies sold and this figure can only increase thanks to the recent debut of the game on iOS devices and the imminent arrival on Android. It also appears that the version that made the developers most proud is the Nintendo Switch, as it allows players to immediately switch from portable mode to TV while keeping all their progress.

Motion Twin is currently working on an update that aims to solve some small problems with the free Rise of Giants DLC. Those who want new content instead can sleep soundly, since they are still two years of support for Dead Cells in addition to the arrival of a hypothetical sequel.

We remind you that if you were among the owners of Dead Cells on Apple devices, you can now use the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One controllers (those with Bluetooth technology support) thanks to the arrival of iOS 13.
