The Legend of Zelda: Link’s Awakening was a very successful launch in Japan, as the exclusive Nintendo Switch immediately reached the top of the sales charts.

Placing more than 141,000 copies in the 7 days following the debut on the shelves, The Legend of Zelda: Link’s Awakening is the best-selling game of last week and could have had a positive impact on sales of the new Nintendo Switch Lite, which with its nearly 178,000 pieces sold did not meet some sales forecasts but it still went just fine.
