All the human enemies of The Last of Us 2 will have a name and experience emotions

In the past few hours, to celebrate the Breakout Day, Sony has released a video behind the scenes of The Last of Us 2 which sees the participation of game director Neil Druckmann, intent on revealing secrets and the background to the game.

After talking about Joel ‘s role in The Last of Us 2, Druckmann focuses on enemies and especially on human opponents, who will have names and experience different emotions depending on the situation. Thus it is not a question of “simple” enemies but of characters endowed with a real personality: by killing a human enemy this will contort in pain and emit a heartbreaking cry, often calling together their companions.

The game director underlines how this is an important aspect of the production, wanted and sought to highlight one of the themes of the game, or the loss of its own humanity, put at risk in order to go in search of revenge.

Yesterday the embargo for the contents of The Last of Us 2 demo that our Francesco Fossetti was able to play in Los Angeles expired, it was also confirmed that the game will have no multiplayer mode. The Last of Us Part 2 will be available on PlayStation 4 and PS4 PRO from 21 February 2020.
