Dead by Daylight, the increasingly supported multiplayer horror of Behavior Interactive, welcomes its first major update after the release of the Nintendo Switch version and the launch of the update dedicated to the Stranger Things Demogorgon.
With the latest Dead by Daylight patch on PC, PS4, Xbox One or Switch, the dark-coloured action of Canadian authors reaches version 1.74 and receives many improvements and optimizations that touch every aspect of the work, without introducing any unpublished content elements in addition to those already present in the title.
Among the interventions made by Behavior, we cite for example the resolution of many problems that emerged in the netcode and in the management of multiplayer lobbies : with the new update, the desynchronizations between client and host should be drastically reduced, together with the forced disconnections that took place in some situations of the game both as spectators and players (from Killer or “prey”).
In terms of playability, the improvements promised by the early October update of Dead by Daylight should result in more enjoyable and “stable” online sessions, thanks to the changes related to the dynamic management of the level of detail of the graphics engine and the polygonal models of monsters and survivors. The update in question, according to the Behavior boys, will make the development of future patches that will accompany the content updates for the duration of the Dead by Daylight Year 4 even simpler and faster.
