More than a year after the announcement of The Walking Dead: Saints & Sinners, the authors of Skydance and Skybound Games immerse us in the post-apocalyptic atmospheres of their adventure in virtual reality on PC through a cinematic trailer that fixes the date of release on January 23, 2020.
The new digital effort of the studio founded by the cartoonist who gave rise to the series of The Walking Dead, Robert Kirkman, will project us through the alleys of New Orleans to survive the waves of zombies and hunt down the bands of marauders and jackals that have occupied the city.
Drawing on the experience gained with the VR Archangel project , the Skydance and Skybound guys will give to Saints & Sinners will allow us to face missions of increasing difficulty: the branched structure of the in-game activities will make it necessary to go through a hub from which we can evolve the equip our alter-ego and choose the most suitable weapons, supplies, and objects for the challenge that awaits us.
In terms of petty gameplay, the title aims to give us a rather intense gaming experience in VR : fights with zombies, for example, can take place either through the use of firearms or melee attacks or white weapon, with a wide choice of strategies to be implemented to shoot, stab, grab, push and hit the enemies in turn. The Walking Dead: Saints & Sinners will, therefore, be available starting January 23rd next year on PC and can be used with all the main virtual reality viewers: to get a taste of the zombie experience that awaits you on VR at the beginning of 2020 , at the bottom of the article you can admire the very first in-game images of Saints & Sinners.
