Nintendo Switch sold nearly 200.00 consoles in Japan last week

The Elder Scrolls Blades Arrives on Nintendo Switch: The Announcement from Bethesda to E3!

Dragon Quest XI S Echoes of an Elusive Age Definitive Edition for Nintendo Switch debuted at the top of the Japanese ranking with over 300,000 copies distributed, a success that obviously had positive repercussions also on the sales of the console on the Asian market.

Last week 196,489 Switch consoles were sold in Japan, with 115,000 units of the standard model and 80,000 Switch Lite. This figure allowed the Nintendo console to noticeably post PS4 / PS4 PRO which cumulatively placed just under 24,000 in the same week.

The decline of 3DS / 2DS consoles continues with the 2DS XL at 2,000 units and 3DS XL at 203 units distributed. Xbox One and One S do not exceed 83 and 75 consoles sold respectively, lagging behind for PlayStation Vita with 39 units sold.

Switch sales, as mentioned, were affected by the positive wave generated by the launch of Dragon Quest XI S Echi of A Lost Era Definitive Edition and the trend seems set to continue with the arrival in the coming weeks of top-notch titles such as Luigi’s Mansion 3 and Pokemon Sword and Shield, the latter destined to become a true best and system seller according to analysts.
