Following the propagation of some alleged information related to the next generation of Microsoft- branded consoles, the House of Redmond intervened in the discussion.
From the pages of the Gizmodo portal, a rumor recently appeared that wanted to develop a high-performance sensor camera for Project Scarlett as it was being developed. The rumor, however, has had quite a short life: Microsoft has indeed chosen to intervene personally on the issue, offering a denial. Gizmodo has, in fact, revised its page dedicated to the subject, reporting an update dated Tuesday, October 2nd. According to reports, ” A Microsoft spokesman denied that any type of technology linked to a camera is in development and that nothing has been delivered to developers in any form“.
In closing, we remind you that the Redmond House has shared with the public the first official information on Project Scarlett on the occasion of conference held by Microsoft during the 2019 edition of E3 in Los Angeles During the event, it was also announced that the next-generation console will debut on the gaming market during the last months of 2020. Among the games that will accompany its launch Halo: Infinite will be present, currently in development at 343 Industries’ studios.
