Call of Duty: Mobile has reached 35 million downloads faster than any other first or third person game on the App Store and Google Play. To announce it was the same Activision with an official statement sent to our editorial staff.
The title developed by Tencent’s Timi Studio ended in first place in over 100 countries around the world. For the uninitiated, Call of Duty: Mobile brings the first-person experience of the series to mobile devices for the first time, offering players’ favourite maps, modes, weapons and characters, including the Modern Warfare universes and Black Ops, in one single experience.
“The fan response on Android and iOS was fantastic. Call of Duty: Mobile has already exceeded 35 million downloads, making it the most downloaded app on iOS in more than 100 countries, not only in the gaming apps but in the ranking “ said Rob Kostich, president of Activision. “It’s an incredibly fun experience, and we’re just getting started. My compliments to the Activision team and our partner Timi Tencent studio for creating such a fantastic game for the players. Special thanks also to our fans for their continued support. There is still a lot to expect when we release new content and updates. “
The title includes Multiplayer’s head-to-head modes, a completely new experience of Battle Royale, along with traditional Call of Duty locations, such as land, sea and air vehicles.
