For the Edge magazine, Gears 5 is just enough game

Gears 5

Punctual, the new issue of the EDGE magazine arrived at the newsstands, as always loaded with votes able to make people discuss. This month’s issue is heavily focused on Google Stadia, whose debut is expected in November, but there are also many reviews on the hottest products of the moment.

Among the numerous votes assigned, the 6 assigned to Gears 5 stands out without a doubt. The last work of The Coalition is certainly not perfect, as evidenced in the review of Gears 5 by our Marco Mottura, but the sufficiency is well below the average that the title can boast on Metacritic, equal to 85. Lower than average also the vote assigned to Borderlands 3, which did not go beyond 7. EDGE also praised Sayonara Wild Hearts, assigning him an excellent 9, and inexorably rejected Blair Witch with a 4. Below is the complete list, as always collected by Reset Era users:

  • Gears 5 – 6
  • Sayonara Wild Hearts – 9
  • Borderlands 3 – 7
  • Grindstone – 9
  • Untitled Goose Game – 8
  • Hexagroove – 7
  • Overland – 5
  • Blair Witch – 4
  • Shinsekai: Into the Depths – 8
  • Pokémon Masters – 6
  • Assemble With Care – 5
  • Mutation – 7
  • Where Cards Fall – 7
  • Daemon X Machina – 5
  • Erica – 7

What do you think of the grades awarded? Do you agree with the opinion of the editors of EDGE?
