PlayStation 4 is about to receive a new firmware update, which will take it to version 7.0. The same Sony has confirmed it in the past few hours, also revealing what will be the main news that the new update will donate to the console.
One in particular concerns the doubling of the number of players that can be invited to a party, which now, therefore, go to 16. Other improvements always regard the groups regarding the transcription of the chat, and improved audio quality, in addition to the resolution of some connectivity problems.
As for the video sector instead, there will be new options for HDR adjustment, while other important innovations are planned for Remote Play. Support has been added to smartphones and tablets that use the Android 5.0 or higher operating system. An update also arrives for Apple users, as the Remote Play app has also been updated on iPhone and iPad, and it is now possible to show the fixed controller on the screen and change the orientation of the latter.
Finally, support for Dualshock 4 controllers connected via Bluetooth on Android, iPhone, iPad, and Mac has been added.
At the moment it has not been announced an official date for the update rollout, but it should start later this week. What do you think?
