Still rumor about COD 2020: we talk about the Black Ops series and state of development

Still rumor about COD 2020

As the publication date of the new Call of Duty: Modern Warfare approaches, some rumors related to the next chapter of the series are published.

Already during the spring of this year, the first rumors emerged related to the future iteration of the Activision franchise. According to the latter, COD 2020 will be Black Ops 5 and to guide the development process we could find the Treyarch team. The source for these details was Jason Schreier, from Kotaku, who reported that he had asked about an anonymous source.

Now, the future of Call of Duty 2020 is also stated by TheGamingRevolution, a rather well-known Twitter user within the community linked to COD and, reports GameRant, source of several leaks, some of which later proved to be true. As you can verify below, the latter responded with a chirp to the request to indicate the current development status of the game on a scale of 1 to 10. The value indicated by TheGamingRevolution stood at 3/10. The user has also suggested a return of the Black Ops series: as reported, the final name of the game would not have been chosen yet.

For now, everything has to be interpreted with due caution: Activision has not in fact offered official details on what will be COD 2020. Waiting to find out if these advances will prove true, we remind you that the publication of Call of Duty: Modern Warfare is expected for October 25th.
