Gran Turismo Sport for PS5 was used to test the new DualShock

Gran Turismo Sport Spec 2

Sony has just confirmed that PlayStation 5 will be released at Christmas 2020 but there’s more to it because thanks to the long coverage of Wired we have discovered the existence of a version of Gran Turismo Sport for the new console of the Japanese house.

Wired confirms that a port of Gran Turismo Sport currently runs on the PS5 Dev Kits and is used by Sony to test the haptic feedback and the new adaptive triggers of the DualShock 5, which allow you to dose the best actions as braking and accelerating.

It is not clear at the moment whether Gran Turismo Sport will actually come out on PlayStation 5 perhaps in an updated version and with an improved technical department, the only certainty at the moment is that Polyphony Digital has managed to run the game on the Dev Kit of the new console, but it is still too early to understand the situation better.

Jim Ryan has confirmed that the next console of the Japanese giant will be called PlayStation 5 and will be available in time for Christmas 2020, price and official release date will be announced soon.
