Marvel’s Avengers will not allow you to play in a local cooperative

Marvel's Avengers

As is now well known since the announcement, in addition to the single-player companion, Marvel’s Avengers will also offer missions specifically designed to be played cooperatively by up to four people, called Missions Warzones.

If you are among those who like to get together with their friends to play together while sitting on the sofa, we have bad news for you. During his speech at the New York Comic-Con last weekend, the head of Crystal Dynamics Scot Amos explained that the cooperative mode will be available only and exclusively online. No options for local gaming, therefore, as happens more and more often in modern productions. What do you think of this choice?

Marvel’s Avengers will be launched on May 15th, 2020 on PC, PlayStation 4, Xbox One and Google Stadia. Recently the developers also talked about the importance of interactions between heroes in the Co-Op Missions and presented Kamala Khan, aka Ms. Marvel, who will play a key role in the narration of the game, as well as representing the sixth playable character after Iron Man, Thor, Captain America, Hulk, and Black Widow.
