Nintendo hires Breath of the Darkness to develop The Legend of Zelda

Nintendo of Japan is hiring staff to be included in the development team currently working on The Legend of Zelda Breath of the Wild 2 (working title) sequel to one of the most popular Switch launch games.

The company is looking for two professional figures, specifically a Scenario Planner and a Level Designer: the first will have to deal with the script and write dialogues and texts while the second will be responsible for the design of dungeons, stages, and game worlds.

The contract initially envisages a three-month trial with a renewed contract in the event of a positive outcome. The salary is variable based on the experience of the candidates, with a compensation of 4.7 million yen (about 40,000 euros) for at least five years of experience in the production of AAA games, 5.5 million (47,000 euros) with ten years of experience and € 58,000 for 15 years of experience in the sector. The working time is the standard one of the Japanese industry, which is from Monday to Friday from 9.30 am to 4.30 pm with a sixty-minute break. For both positions, perfect knowledge of the Japanese language is required.

Recall that according to the latest rumors the game (which could be called The Legend of Zelda Breath of the Darkness ) will be released in January 2021 along with Nintendo Switch PRO, no confirmation has come about these rumors.
