The Last of Us Celebrates Its Sixth Anniversary: Naughty Dog Thanks the Fans

Analyst Daniel Ahmad (also known as ZhugeEX on Twitter and ResetERA) points out that The Last Of Us has sold more than twenty million copies by adding data from the released versions on PlayStation 3 and PS4.

The analyst says that Uncharted 2 had sold about six million copies on PS3, a figure that has since grown (current data are not known) with digital sales and the Uncharted Collection on PlayStation 4.

Uncharted 4 End of a Thief sold 16 million copies on PlayStation 4 and this shows the exponential growth in sales of Naughty Dog projects, which on PS4 could realize their vision of the Uncharted and The Last Of Us series, finding fertile ground for cinematographic games with a strong narrative component.

Numbers, those reported by Ahmad, which bode well for the commercial success of The Last Of Us Part 2, which is a candidate to become a safe Best Seller of 2020 on PlayStation 4. The game will be available exclusively from February 21st next year on PS4 and PS4 PRO.
