Few believed in satisfying gameplay in The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt on Nintendo Switch, but Saber Interactive did a good job. The title is playable in 30 frames per second, although as it turns out – the Nintendo console can launch Geralt’s adventure in 60 fps.
Since this week, more players are sinking in the adventure created by CD Projekt RED. The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt is finally available on the Nintendo Switch, and just a few months ago owners of the Japanese console only dreamed of accessing three stories of Geralt.
The port was developed by Saber Interactive – in many places, the quality of the binding had to be reduced in order to ensure satisfying gameplay in 30 frames per second. The creators came up with an interesting idea and allowed in the settings to change several elements related to post-production – players can turn off blur, reduce water quality or simply turn off the effects underwater. There are several options, and using them Modern Vintage Gamer made an interesting discovery.
YouTuber reduced the quality of the housing, turn off the dynamic resolution, and then turned on the console overclocking to finally be able to play The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt on the Nintendo Switch in 60 fps. The production of CD Projekt RED looks even worse in this situation, and the liquidity drops are clear, but it is an interesting presentation.
