The next title of Respawn Entertainment will have different levels of difficulty: in this way, even those who are not familiar with video games will be able to enjoy the story
Video games give more and more prominence to their atmospheres, to their screenplays – and there is a whole slice of gamers that, at challenges, prefer instead the experience of the title itself, following events, characters and game world in the events that they shake. That’s why even Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order will fall into that band of titles that will offer different levels of difficulty, with the intention of making the story accessible even to those who are not particularly agile, video games in hand.
To explain this vision was Stim Asmussen, director of the game for Respawn Entertainment, who pointed out that those who want a challenge can choose the level of difficulty best suited to them, while those who are afraid of not being up to it will be able to make things more easy and enjoy the story:
Since E3 we have done so much playtesting. We had already done this before E3, but since then we have done so much. The biggest change we have probably made is on the difficulty level . Many of us who work there love challenges, but we realize that this is Star Wars . This means he has a large audience and we don’t want anyone to feel left out.
For this, Respawn has worked to ensure everyone has access to Jedi: Fallen Order :
We have made some adjustments, we have added a new Story Mode difficulty, I can say that in a sense we have fixed things making them a little easier even for the default mode. Then we added a more difficult level of difficulty. All this was influenced by what we detected during playtesting – and by the iteration.
